Inclusion that drives results

Sarah was recently diagnosed with ADHD and had been struggling to meet targets in her IT team, leaving both her and her manager demotivated due to incomplete reporting and documentation. After completing our Neurosupport training, Jon knew exactly how to support her, implementing smaller milestones, regular check-ins, and buddy support, which enabled Sarah to achieve her objectives and feel confident and valued in the team. Impact you can measure

Gillian and her procurement team were used to rigid processes, which made it difficult to include small, owner-run businesses and innovate the company’s supplier portfolio. After completing our Neurosource training, the team learned to recognise unconscious bias, adopt inclusive decision-making, and approach procurement strategically, resulting in a more diverse supplier base and a stronger, more impactful procurement function. Challenge

EasyJet, with a workforce that is 46% women, wanted to better support and understand the unique experiences of female employees with autism and ADHD. Like many organisations, they recognized the need to improve awareness around neurodiversity, especially addressing the specific challenges faced by women who are often underdiagnosed or misunderstood in the workplace.

Solution

NeuroSpecial delivered a specialised workshop focused on female autism and ADHD for EasyJet’s teams. The session covered recognising traits, addressing workplace challenges, and fostering inclusive communication and support strategies. This training aimed to empower both neurodivergent employees and their colleagues, creating a more understanding and supportive work environment.

"As an autistic person, it is refreshing to see a fellow autistic person and a strong business leader, sharing their story of struggles on stage and challenging procurement at corporates to make supplying their companies simpler. Thank you Neurospecial. 🙌🏾"

Thank you for the fantastic Parents Workshop before the holidays. All of the parents who attended said how beneficial the session was. Many went away with a new understanding of girls and Neurodiversity as well as some ideas that they can try at home to support their daughters. The session was pitched well and parents felt able to ask and answer questions.

The parent awareness session allowed an opportunity for parents of SEND children to get together and share experiences. It gave the parents a safe platform to share their experiences and listen to others without being judged.
