Raising Awareness: Female ADHD at Hockliffe School
August 27, 2025
We delivered our Female ADHD Parent Awareness Course at Hockliffe School, exploring how ADHD shows up in girls and sharing strategies to support their confidence and learning. Parents left empowered, with fresh insights and tools to better advocate for their children.

Last week, we had the privilege of delivering our Female ADHD Parent Awareness Course at Hockliffe School, and it was an inspiring experience from start to finish. Engaging with parents directly allowed us to explore the unique ways ADHD presents in girls—often overlooked or misinterpreted—and share practical strategies to support their learning, confidence, and wellbeing.
What made the session truly special was the openness and curiosity of the parents. Conversations flowed, questions were asked, and real insights were gained—not just about ADHD, but about how to nurture each child’s strengths. It’s moments like these that show why awareness matters: understanding female ADHD early can transform a child’s educational experience, reduce frustration, and empower families to advocate effectively.
We are grateful to Hockliffe School for welcoming us and providing a space for meaningful dialogue. Every parent left with not only knowledge but also a sense of empowerment—a reminder that raising awareness can spark real change.
