Empowering neurodivergent individuals to thrive and transforming workplaces into inclusive spaces where everyone’s unique strengths are valued and celebrated.

Our mission

We believe that true inclusion means seeing each employee as a whole person, with diverse and holistic needs, supporting them to become happy, fulfilled, and productive individuals. While neurodiversity is often misunderstood or overlooked, supporting neurodivergent people is a vital part of this journey. Our core purpose is to help organisations become genuinely inclusive by unlocking the full potential of all employees—shifting the focus from simply providing adaptations and support to fostering enablement and empowerment as the foundation of lasting inclusivity.

Our vision

We envision a future where all organisations seamlessly integrate inclusivity into their frameworks and processes. In such organisations, individuality is not seen as a challenge but as something to be celebrated and supported.

"With over a decade as a senior leader across various industries and work environments, I unknowingly masked my autism until my late 30s. Throughout my career, I found that while I thrived in some organisational cultures, I really struggled in others — even though I brought the same motivation and drive as a consultant each time.

My journey into executive coaching and research revealed that productivity isn’t just about the individual; it’s deeply influenced by organisational culture, work settings, and external communication styles, all of which shape one’s mindset.

This insight inspired me to establish NeuroSpecial, where our team is committed to creating meaningful and lasting impact in organisational inclusion and neurodiversity."

Dani Mash

Client Success Director

As an Educationalist, a Mentor and a Parent Governor, my work has largely been about empowering people to thrive and achieve their potential. During a career break and time out to have my children, I set up my own small business, where I was able to develop a new skillset and learn more about the corporate world. I’m a big advocate for ‘Inclusion’ and believe that everyone deserves the right to succeed. By merging my past experiences, I'm excited to deliver evidence-based training and coaching to different organisations, in order to influence the provision and opportunity for all employees and drive meaningful change.

Researching inclusive travel

The University of Hertfordshire's Social Science Research Team, led by Dr. Allan Jepson, is pioneering research into equitable travel and tourism for neurodivergent individuals and their families. Their work explores the barriers these families face—such as sensory sensitivities, inadequate facilities, and lack of staff understanding—and highlights the need for inclusive, supportive environments across the industry.

Turning insights into action

In collaboration with NeuroSpecial, the team aims to translate their findings into meaningful training and practical guidance for frontline staff and travel organisations. This partnership ensures that recommendations are grounded in robust research, enabling the sector to create genuinely inclusive experiences for neurodivergent travellers.
